- According to this headstone for Margaret Cain, she passed away in December 1875 at the age of 72. There is another headstone for Margaret at Westbrook Cemetery, giving her age as 75 and her year of death as 1876. Assuming these two headstones are the same person, Margaret was the wife of Peter Cain.
- Notes
- Westbrook Cemetery is an inactive cemetery in Brant County, under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Brant. It is located at 30 Shaver St., off of Hwy 2/53 East. Most of the headstones have been placed in concrete in a row, and most are legible and in good shape. A few are illegible because of weathering, and two have been broken. There are also a few stumps of headstones which are no longer there.
