This Indenture made the seventh day of January AD 1868 Between William Duncan of the [illegible] Brantford County of Brant Yeoman the first part and Alfred Henson of the [illegible] and County Butcher of the second part witnesseth that is consideration of the [rent?] convenants and agreements herein after revered and and Contained on the part of the said part of the second part - his executors administrators and assigns to be paid observed and performed he the said part of the first hath [demised?] and leased and by these [illegible] the [demise?] and lease unto the said part of the second part his heirs executors administers and assigns [all?] [illegible] message or [illegible] [Situate?] and lying being in the Village of Cainsville a dwelling House and [hay?] an [acer g?] and more or less lying on the north side of the Hamilton road bounded westerly by land owned by David [Shay?] Northerly by the farm of Joseph Thomas and easterly by a lot owned by Martin Deagel also that Barn and Shed on the south side of the Hamilton road [illegible] the House above described with a piece of land on the east side of the barn & shed about thirty - feet-wide To have and to hold the said [mortgage?] or [illegible] and premises unto the said part of the second part - his heirs executors and assigns for and during the [illegible[ of One Year.to be [Completed?] from the seventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight - and from thenceforth Yielding and paying therefore monthly and every month during the said term hereby granted unto the said part of the first part his executors administrators and assigns the sum of three dollars fifty cents to be payable on the following days and times that is to say the first payment to become due and be made on the seventh day of February next and three dollars and fifty cents to be come due and be paid on the seventh day of each following
