- A three-page letter written by an unknown party, dated the eighth of March 1939 and addressed to Mr. W.O. Langs. It describes various members of the family, where and when they were born, their spouses and their various children and is likely answering an inquiry about extended family history.

I received your letter in due time in Regards to my Father Record of his Family, his Father & Mother
George W Langs & his wife Lydia Youngs were both Buried at Old Windham in Norfolk County, about three Miles south of
Jacob Langs my Father, was Born in Norfolk County North of Round Plains in Feb 14, 1822 I think was the year & he Died in Feb 8 1912, Ninety years lacking Six Days. he Married Anne L Ludlow in year 1857. She was Borned at Cainsville Brant county in year 1835. Died in 1917. in her 83 year, Both Father & Mother are Buried at Lynnville County Norfolk County. also our youngs Brother Georde Fred Langs. He Died in year 1893 aged in fift year

Alen M Langs Born April 30 1862 he Married Clair Degroat 1890 they had one son. Lloyd F Langs was Born year 1891
He is married [illegible] in Vancouver BC I don’t know his wifes maiden [name?] they have no children
Lydia .E. Langs Born Sep 25 1863 Married William Davidson in 194 he Died in year 1916
Lydia married again in Feb 29 124 to Henry Reed & he Died in Oct 30 1932 Had no children Lives now alone in Dunnville Ont
Jacob .L. Langs Born Feb 26 1869 Married Kate Nite they had three children George .F. Lang Born July 26
Lenard .R Langs Born Feb 16
I cant tell the year. As I don’t remember Olive the Daughter lives in Windsor Ont. This is her address she could tell you if your write her Mrs George [Lowther?] Assumption Street Windsor Ont

Sidny B Born in year 1868 Oct 1 her First Husband was Robert J Smith. They had two sons Fred .B Smith. Born July 26 1881 Frank D Smith Born Aug 14 1882 Sidny B Langs & Robert J Smith was Married in 1880
Their son Fred .B. Sith Married in year 195’ they have three sons all Married. each son have two children
Frank .D. Smith never Married is a Batchler. lives in [Lambton?] . RR 1 Ont
Stuard H Langs olds son of Jacob Langs Born year 1861 April 12 Married. [Lue?] Garvey year 1889
They had two children, Lou, was Married they had two children. Morley Roy son he Married had two children I don’t know his wife name. he Died some year ago, nor his children [name?] there Daughter Ida Bell. she Married do not know [her?] Married name Think she lives at Port Huron [Mchu?] - Date of Original
