The author of seventy published books, his work has appeared internationally in close to 1000 publications and he is the recipient of over 100 international writing awards including the Hourglass Laureate Award of Bosnia Herzegovina in 2017. "The Magic of Tobacco" is her first published literary piece. eah Montani moved to this area in 2013 from the ever growing city of Kitchener with her husband, who was originally from the Brant area and lived here for over 20 years. They live on Middle Townline road with their four children and a loveable dog Xena. "Whirlwind 1979" is the account of Ligia's husband's experience living through the tornados that touched down in 1979. L J ane Mulkewich lives in Dundas and is a neighbour of Brant county. She practiced law in the Brantford courthouse for a few years, often working with indigenous communities. Jane is a lawyer specializing in human rights and labour law. She likes to write and is interested in creative non-fiction, particularly on topics exploring early colonization and the history of racialized communities. 53
