- Description
- Black and white photograph of V. E. Day celebrations on 8 May 1945 taking place in Paris, Ontario. There is a large crowd of people standing [possibly on Grand River Street], with some people are holding or riding bicycles. The majority of the crowd is depicted in civilian clothing, however some people wearing military uniforms can be identified. In the background near the centre, there is someone playing the piano, with a choir standing in front of the brick building. There are two cars on the street, and the one on the left the frame among the crowd has two large speakers on its roof.
