1999.0246.01: Black and white photograph of a group of fifteen Canadian soldiers recovering from wounds at a Canadian Expeditionary Force hospital in England, 1918. All men are in uniform, except the man in a dark jacket standing in the back row far right, with varying ranks. Four men in the front row hold a cane, and one man has a set of crutches. Sergeant John Richardson of Paris, Ontario is the second from the left in the top row, identified by an "x" on his chest.

1999.1761.01: Black and white photograph of a group of thirteen non-commissioned Canadian Expeditionary Force officers, with five men in the back row standing, seven men in the middle row seated on a wooden bench, and one man in front laying on the ground. The men pose outdoors with tall grasses, trees, and a house to the left in the background. The photograph is captioned "SGT. John Richardson, back right, before being posted overseas c. 1917". Richardson is also identified by the "x" on his chest.
