- 1999.0246.01: Black and white photograph of a group of fifteen Canadian soldiers recovering from wounds at a Canadian Expeditionary Force hospital in England, 1918. All men are in uniform, except the man in a dark jacket standing in the back row far right, with varying ranks. Four men in the front row hold a cane, and one man has a set of crutches. Sergeant John Richardson of Paris, Ontario is the second from the left in the top row, identified by an "x" on his chest.
1999.1761.01: Black and white photograph of a group of thirteen non-commissioned Canadian Expeditionary Force officers, with five men in the back row standing, seven men in the middle row seated on a wooden bench, and one man in front laying on the ground. The men pose outdoors with tall grasses, trees, and a house to the left in the background. The photograph is captioned "SGT. John Richardson, back right, before being posted overseas c. 1917".
