Dear Bro. in Christ
We the undersigned in behalf
of the teacher and Friends
of the Sabbath School wish
you to accept this Bible as a
small token of their [esteem]
and appreciation for so ably
filling the Office of Superinten-
dent for the past twelve years,
and pray that the "Giver of all
Good" may long [spare] you
[to] read it and that you
may enjoy health and
strength to work in the school
in the future as you have
in the past.
