Dear Old Aunt Ida
I received your meat
of course but not
quite in time for Adrian
was to our place and had
gone [awant] just about 20
minutes before Charles
came but perhaps I will
see some of them again
it is very dull here
to day or at least this
afternoon I have got
the head-ache ao bad
that I do not know what
to do with my self. Mr.
[Shrine] went home Friday
Page 2:
night he heard at the
show that his father was
not expected to live if he
is very low he will perhaps
not teach Monday I did
not get hoem until
Saturday noon so you
see that I did not get
[well] I will tell you all
when you come I am
very anxious to hear
from Burford I think
if anything happened
["him and"] he would get
some one to drive him
up and tell us so I will
look for you Wensday
I supposed if nothing happens
Ever your dear
Friend Mary
John has been sick ever since the Show
