Possibly Second Boer War era 1899 to 1902

These soldiers in training have slouch hats or similar training hats like the "boonie. hat" but the pants with the stripe seem Edwardian, just prior to First World War.

The two men walking away on the left may be wearing pith helmets, but not clear.
