I went there also about 30 years ago, i would like to know if is still open too, i tell my kids about the experiences i had here and to this day it remains the best summer i ever had as a youth, i'll never forget the friends i made that summer, i stayed there for 7 full weeks. I returned about 2 years later only for 1 week but it was just as memorable as the first, reuniting with some of the counsellors was great and meeting new friends again too. amazing experiences.

Thanks for sharing, Billy. I've heard that the camp closed a few years ago. I was unable to find any contact info but the land is now private property and I know that the sign is no longer there.

I went there as well for 2 summers and they were the best summers ever. I also tell me kids all the time about how much fun it was. Wish there was a camp like this around still.

Bible Club Movement of Canada owned the property, which sold to a family twenty, or so, years ago. I worked on Maintenance and Upkeep and as a Counsellor my last two summers of High School. My Camp name was Barnabas...you're all right - it was small but fun...I miss my friend PR...

I went there for two summers. It was 50 years ago which I remember because I was at the camp when Apollo 11 landed on the moon. Don't remember very much unfortunately, except the song.

I felt nostalgic today and wanted to see if I could find the address to this. I was there with the original Mexican campers that my Uncle helped to bring to Canada about 37 years ago. By the time I was 15 I was a Camp Counsellor for Cain 1 . Boys in that cabing were ages 7 - 8. My nickname was JJ and I was there when Sparks and Flipper were there too. I remember Mushroom and Vip . Miss them times. Cold showers etc... lol Does anyone remember the address?

I was a camper in 1959, 1960, 1961 at the ages of 8, 9, 10. I caught my first fish at Crystal Springs, but more importantly, came to understand the gospel, and soon after gave my life to Christ. I became a missionary to Africa for 30 years, and have never ever regretted following Christ. Miss Emily Pettit was my BCM teacher at school and my counsellor one year at camp too. Very very formative experience.

Crystal Springs Camp Mt Pleasant Ont. It was on Pleasant Ridge Rd. My father was Rev Al King, he along with a lot of good men built Crystal Springs in its original form and I grew up there. Dad left Bible Club Movement in geez 1968 no 69 and Chloe Chamberlain was responsible for the camp after he left.

I was a counsellor in the late ‘80s. Brooks was my camp name. Best experience, gave me a foundation for the work that I continued as a child and youth worker and eventual social worker.

I remember the Mexican kids because I hung around with them kids the whole summer pretending to be Mexican myself I'm a little Italian kid named Anthony I still remember the Mexican words they taught me the Miller trailer the flag song swimming with my shirt on because I was chubby and embarrassed. The awards at the end of the year how many awards I won, I remember Band-Aid you showed me the song I just died in your Arms tonight, and every time I hear it I think of him I think of the camp I think of all the years of experience I had there I went back for years consecutively all the people I met all the people I forgot man this brings back memories. I thought this place was gone I looked it up couldn't find anything about it. Pooka roo from The polka dot door was a counselor there and I very much like to know what became of him. I'd like to hear from anybody who remembers me.
