- Thomas Standing was born in 1830 and passed away in 1906. His wife, Janet (Balmer) Standing, was born in 1833 and passed away in 1920. Their son, David Josiah Standing, was born in 1870 and passed away in 1914. David's wife, Charlotte Marion Ruth (Ballachey) Standing, was born in 1883 and passed away in 1949. They are all buried at the Fairfield Cemetery. Thomas and Janet were also the parents of Margaret E. Standing and Robert A. Standing.
