- Penelope Abbott passed away on August 23, 1847 at the age of 50. She was the spouse of William Abbott and is buried at the Oakland Pioneer Cemetery. It is also likely that Penelope was the mother of Cornelia Abbott and Milford Abbott. The bottom is missing but the fact that "ALSO" is inscribed suggests that there is another name on this headstone.
