Description

Franklin A. Metcalf passed away on August 30, 1878 at the age of 66. His wife, Lany (Westbrook) Metcalf passed away on November 8, 1904. Bethia (Metcalf) Lincoln passed away on January 31, 1895 at the age of 49.
William H. Metcalf passed away on August 28, 1915 at the age of 73 and his wife, Mary Jane (Merritt) Metcalf passed away on February 14, 1928 at the age of 87.
Erle G. Metcalf passed away on October 09, 1882 at the age of 1 and was the son of Frank and Vettie Metcalf. F.A. Metcalf Jr. passed away on December 14, 1926 at the age of 70. His wife, A.J. (Merrill) Metcalf passed away on April 14, 1925 at the age of 65. A.D. Metcalf passed away on March 07, 1917 at the age of 67.
It would appear that with the exception of Erle G. Metcalf, all others mentioned on this headstone were the children of Franklin and Lany.
They are all buried at Fairfield Cemetery.
