This was the greatest teacher that ever taught me! This picture would have been around 1971, she looks just as I remember. I was in 4th grade at Prince Charles School Brantford ON. Miss Rath would tell stories of her past and the world seemed simple. She also loved to play baseball with her students. She was a great human being and everyone who knew her was blessed. Thank you.
This picture is from the late '50s. Miss Rath taught me in grades 5, 6 and 8 at the Mt. Pleasant Senior Public School. She was the most gifted teacher I ever had. At school reunions ALL her former students agreed that she gave each of us a wonderful start in life. She was strong, disciplined and utterly devoted to teaching.
I would agree with Tom that the photo is mid to late 50's I taught with Ada in 1967 at Mt. Pleasant
