- A colour picture of the stone farmhouse on 325 River Road and a brief report on the history of the building and property. The photograph shows the one story farmhouse with attic space. The attic has access through a door above the main entrance. There may have been a balcony there at one time. There is a grassy hill leading to the building.

The old stone house on this farm was built in 1910 by Thomas Hicks. Lome Woodruff was granted this land and lived here in a frame house, but lost the property to the mortgage company. That house burned. Mr. Hicks left the farm to 3 daughters, Winnie, Eliza, and Elise. They sold to Mr. Bytahurs The original farm contained 100 acres, 3 acres now go with the house. - Date of Publication
