- Two pictures and a brief report of the history of the property on 23 Bay Street. The first, black and white, photograph was take when there was a heavy snow fall.
The two story brick building with a covered entrance and a few shrubs. The second, colour, photograph is of the same house. The brick has been covered over with siding. There have been some cosmetic changes to the entrance and the plants have changed. - Inscriptions

This two story frame house was built in 1940 by Bill Russell for Archie and Lillie King, Viola, Ray and Jack. New aluminum siding replaced the red insul brick. In her later years, Lillie used the house as a summer home.
Others who lived here in Lillie's absence: Iny and Ted White 1955-56; Violet and Harry Davis for six winters; Mae and Cecil Grunig 1985; Susan and Ab Metcalf 1987. In 1995, Archie and Lillie's granddaughter, Brenda (King) Tilson bought the house and spent the summer, then in 1996, Brenda. her son Timothy and Husband Tim Tilson moved to Magnetawan permanently. Archie owned and operated the first school bus to the High School in Burk's Falls. - Date of Publication
