Description
Black and white photograph of maple syrup tapping occurring on Maple Island circa 1950. Three men and a woman are pictured. They are standing next to a team of horses, who appear to be hitched to a wagon.
In the background there is an unidentified building visible. This building may have been where the sap was boiled. Some of the trees in the photograph have maple sap buckets tied them.
