James Foster Stickland owned and operated this mill and camp from the early 1930's until his death in 1959. The mill was situated in many places; Lawson Lake (between Maple Island and Port Loring), LaBrash Lake (Maple Island), in Dunchurch (where the Whitestone Marina is now situated) and Chapleau. The picture above includes Jim Stickland, a young Larry Saunders and Sammy Patterson.
