Looking south at downtown Dunchurch from in front of the United Church (former Presbyterian Church) around 1930. Robertson's store can be seen on the right, with the storehouse across the road. The Temperance Hotel is set within the trees. A harness shop is behind the storehouse. The house with the veranda was Vankoughnetts (Frances Johnstone was born there). This house burned about 1920. The family then moved across the road to the Hannah boarding house. Picture courtesy of Mary Crisp.
