Daisey Myrtle was born daughter of John Hannaford. son of George & Jane. John married Lavina Emily Darby, March 20,1882 in Bracebridge. November 25, 1898 they had twin daughters Daisey Myrtle and Lavina Irene. appears Lavina died at birth and on the 1901 census Daisey Myrle appears to be living with William and Emma Jane [Hannaford] Whittington, and is shown as their adopted daughter. John Hannaford was Emma Jane's brother and lived next door, so Daisey was the Whittingtons niece. Lavina Emily [Darby] Hannaford died in 1900 and I assume that is when Daisey was taken in by the Whittingtons. Emma Jane [Hannford) Whittington died Sept. 15, 1915 @ Pevensey which explains her not being in the picture.
