- Black and white photograph of soldiers marching down a dirt road in Burk's Falls. These soldiers are either marching off to war or coming home from war. On the left side of the photograph, near the soldiers is a person on a bicycle.
- Inscriptions
- The caption at the bottom of the images reads 'On the right is the Fowler Store, later converted to a Red & White grocery, and today is the Almaguin News. Notice the drop off from the road. Today that is all filled, has the new Home Hardware and town parking lot.'
