- Description
- Black and white photograph of the Brunner Farmhouse. There is snow on the ground on the far right it appears that there are wheel marks. It is likely that this is a road. The farm house itself has been surrounded by a picket fence. There is a windmill on the left side inside the fence. There are many trees inside and outside the fence. The farmhouse itself is wooden and painted a dark colour. There are two chimneys. There is a main farmhouse and what looks to be an addition.
- Notes
- The home was built by William Parks. The farm was owned by Parks Reinhardt before the Brunners. The building itself was originally used as a rooming house, Rye Post Office, store & blacksmith shop. Bernice nee Brunner and her husband operated the post office.
