Iverson's operated a restaurant along with overnight cabins on the West side of Ferguson Highway #11 (Mill Street) just South of the grist mill.
The restaurant is the single storey building while the two storey house next is the Iverson Family home. Further to the right in the photo several of the overnight cabins can be seen.
As the highway is paved in this photo the date of photo is post 1938. This was the last section of the Ferguson Highway from Barrie to North Bay to be paved.

This was my Grandfather and Grandmother's place. Their names were Martin and Hannah Iverson. It was a Lodge and restaurant. The restaurant was the log building. Martin also had a bakery in the basement of the house. On the other side of the house were log cabins for tourists to. I was told that these were the Dionne Quint years and the highway was quite busy.
