- Description
- This is a black and white photograph of two men sawing a log at the South River Agricultural Society Fall Fair, circa 1960. The men are using a old-fashioned long saw in which two people, one from each end, take turns pulling the saw through the log. The log they're cutting is placed on two logs to ease cutting for the two men. There's a wood fence parallel to the men cutting, in which spectators are watching the demonstration. A few young boys are within the fence, watching the demonstration from a kneeling position.
- Notes
- Arnold Wylie is the man cutting on the right side of the photograph.
