- This is a black and white photograph showing a garage moved back for the building of Stevenson Hardware, in South River. The building is two floors, with an exterior of brick. The foundation of the building has been raised on stilts in preparation for the move. Three large gaps in the front exterior are visible, where work is being done. Through the gaps the inside of the building can be seen; the interior has been 'gutted' in preparation for the move. Mounds of gravel or other material is laying in front of the garage. Two men are at the side of the garage, looking at the progress of the work.
