Vincent's was located on the North East Corner of Ottawa Ave and Isabella street. The second story was used a meeting hall and for years "Vincent's Young Mens Club" held their annual Balls in the hall. Clinton A. Jackson was a manager for Edward Vincent and later became owner of the building.
Passing from owners such as C.A. Jackson, Wm. Johnstone, it became known as McGirr's and in 1943 the original building was destroyed by fire. A new brick building soon replaced the original and was still operated by McGirrs.
McGirrs sold out and the building again changed hands Drummonds, English, Paisley, Newman, etc.
