- Notes
- This frame home on the northeast corner of Ahmic and John Streets was originally owned by Samuel Calvert. At the time of the 1901 census, and probably at the time of this picture, the home was occupied by James and Ada (Cole) McCrindle and their daughter Iverna. Ada (Cole) McCrindle was a sister of Lucy Ida (Cole) Johnson who together with her husband John A. Johnson built the Cliffeburne Hotel. In 1908, Lillie (Croswell) Kennedy purchased the home.
This is a picture of the home in the 1920’s. It was best remembered as the Neely home.
