- Description
- The Historical Society is particularly indebted to Waitstill ‘Waity’ Croswell, Joyce Crossman, Jack Crossman, Orma Quinn, Lynn Abbot Lennox, the Wellever family. Richard Moore, Norma Hill-Watt and the late John Macfie for the photos and associated descriptions.
- Notes
- This is the only picture that appears to exist of any member of the Jules Brown family. It shows one of Jules Brown’s daughters on the dock of the recently rebuilt hotel. As can be seen in the picture, upwards of 20 years after its initial construction, the general store, including both upper and lower porches, remains in good repair.
