- In this view of the Ahmic Harbour shoreline from before 1920, what is known as the John Henry Newell store (formerly the Jules Browen store) retain its large veranda. In front of the store, on the water is the former Croswell boat works. The new three storey frame ‘Lakeview’ hotel has been built. Between the hotel and store can be seen the Sam and Amelia Paul home.
