2010s What’s Trending?

With the speed of the internet and the widespread use of social media, news and trends around the world are circulated almost instantaneously. By 2010 80% of Canadians 16 years and older use the internet. One-third of those went online with a wireless handheld device. Music, books and movies can be downloaded and enjoyed on portable tablets and phones. This trend has led to the self-publication of 2012’s hottest trilogy by E.L. James, beginning with Fifty Shades of Grey.
