Mr. Britton was unable to be present. 18 residents were present. Lunch was served. D. Barter Janis B. Mitchell Executive Meeting Jan 15, 1968 This meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Long. The minutes of last executive meeting were read by Mrs. D. Barter. It was moved by Mrs. M. Manning & seconded by Mrs. M. Draper that the minutes be accepted as read. Treas. report - Bank bal. $315.23 (375.23), cash on hand $18.70. It was moved by Mrs. Armstrong & sec. by Mrs. Bentley that the report be accepted as read. Program - Mrs. Long reported that arrangements had been made for Jan. meeting - the dialogue between Mrs. K. Anthony - area vice-president & Mr. Long on “Rearing Children of Good Will,” to be followed by discussion groups. Feb. meeting not arranged yet. Will contact Mr. Dunning re Open house for March meeting. It was moved by Mrs. M. Manning & sec. by Mrs. A. Bentley that notices re April election of officers, including slate of offices be sent out to all residents, Mrs. M. Draper reported there are now 19 members. Mrs. Draper is to contact Mrs. A. Wilson to notify those who do not have children attending school, re the meetings. Mrs. V. Parker & Mrs. M. Long attended the Nov 28th meeting in Oshawa re “Family Life Education Program” & found it to be quite good. Meeting Jan 23/68 is to be on “Drugs, Alcohol & You” Other business - Flag pole has been straightened, backstop removed, night lights on, “No Trespassing” signs posted,
