(Page glued to page) ANNUAL REPORT - April 1967 On Jan. 13, 1966 a meeting was held at Paradise Public School, Pickering Beach, to again become active in Home and School. The meeting was turned over to Mrs. Creamer, Pres. of the Oshawa Council, and Mrs. Moss, Vice Pres. of the Provincial Area “C” of the Home and School Association. Mrs. Mary Long made a motion to become again active. It was seconded by Janice Mitchell. Mrs. Creamer held elections and also installed the new officers for the balance of the school year. In the April meeting a motion was made to have the newly appointed executive stay for the following school year. There were four executive and general meetings held until the end of the school year. The annual meeting in April 1966 had a membership of 22. In June awards and trophies were given out by the Home and School Association. From Sept 1966 to April 24, 1967 we had five general meetings and an executive each month. Nov. was the Bazar showing a profit of $275.18. Dec. and March were Open House and giving out report cards. April 24, 1967 This was the annual meeting, the minutes were read by Mrs. Armstrong. accepted by Mrs. Fowler her seconded by Mrs. Fowler. The annual Report was read by Mrs. Armstrong accepted by Mrs. Bentley seconded by Mrs. Barber. Treasurer Mrs. Barter - Bank acc balance 214.62 Cash on hand 9.40 Audited by Bank. - Balance 224.02 accepted by Mrs. Armstrong seconded by Mrs. Leathen. Membership Mrs. Leathen 22 members She thanked the grade mothers for their help through the year. Mrs. Bruce & Mr. McDonald - rooms won the banner with a tie. Mrs. Fowler thanked the ladies for their help with the lunch each month. Program Chairman Janice Mitchell reviewed all the programs from the monthly meetings second accepted by Mrs. Bentley accepted by Mrs. Long carried. Council Dinner - Tues May 23. tickets 3.25. A motion was made for the Home & School to have 5 ladies be present paid by Home & School. accepted by Norma Leathen seconded by Mrs. Bentley.
