Mrs. Barber spoke of a trip she had taken to Dundern Castle in Hamilton & thought it might make an interesting trip for the children in the future. Room Count was won by Miss Clarke’s room. Mrs. Manning introduced Mr. D. Bass who spoke to us on recreation for all ages. He showed us a film entitled “Morning on the Lievre” which was filmed in southwestern Quebec. He told us we are going to have a playground supervisor for 8 wks this summer & a swimming programme would also be available. Mrs. Manning thanked Mr. Bass on behalf of everyone present. Parker During the last week of school several members of the executive presented the Gr. 8 students at Cloverlane School with the graduation pins & the public speaking trophy was also awarded at the same time.
