Side 1 - In loving memory of William Pile died Jan. 1, 1880 aged 66 yrs 2 mos & 18 days also Ann wife of the above died June 26, 1896 aged 86 years Natives of Devonshire England The winter of trouble is past The storms of affliction are o'er Their struggles are ended at last And sorrow and death are no more Side 2 - James son of WM. & Ann Pile died Mar. 9, 1863 aged 22 yrs 10 mos & 11 dys Native of Devonshire England our life is like the grass Our youth is like a flower They rise they bloom and then alas They perish in an hour Side 3 - Pile Markers: J.P., W.P., A.P. (j. & R. W., Whitby).
