In this view of the bridge over Duffin's Creek, it appears the water-way in the foreground is a man-made channel drawing water directly from the creek, a water source for Spinks Mill.
On the other hand, it may be an intersect by the West Duffin Creek into Duffin Creek or perhaps the outflow of a flume from Spinks Mill, which in turn may have drawn water from a source/dam located on the West Duffin Creek?
