You will show on your Plan and field Notes the intersection of the Concession and Side lines of the adjoining Townships with the outlines of your Township. In the field notes of your North Boundary you will enter the distance continuously up to Eighty Chains or to whatever you find to be the Commencing of with at this point up to the next side line run by you, Remembering of course that no post is to be planted or marked by you at the intervening lots, one and two, three and four etc. on the North Boundary as the Post planted on the front of your Sixth Concession will govern. You will read over your instructions and printed carefully and if you are in doubt about anything you will apply to the Department for information. You will be allowed at the rate of Seven cents per acre, on the total area of the Township to cover all expenses connected therewith, including, Returns provided that after an examination on the ground your Survey be found Satisfactory, and that your Returns are correct. An advance of $400 (four hundred dollars) will be allowed on account of the Survey, on your furnishing approved Security in accordance with the enclosed Bond, wich you will fill into and return to this office.
