THÉORET, Pauline (1951 - 2005)
Passed away peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side at her residence in Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, December 24 2005 at the age of 54 years. Predeceased by her parents Léo Theoret and Molli (née Cronin). Dear sister of Yvonne Guest (Evan) of Hamilton, David (Christine) of Toronto, Suzanne of North Bay, by her triplet brothers Paul of Toronto and Peter (Deborah) of Sturgeon Falls, Patrick of Sturgeon Falls, Michael of Comox, British Columbia and Louis (Shawne) of Hull, Québec. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 16 nieces and nephews and five great-nieces. Pauline was a long time resident of Ottawa where she taught for the Ottawa Carleton District School Board for over 25 years. Pauline also taught in Lahr, Germany. Pauline was a devoted teacher, well respected by her peers and students. Special thanks to the staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital, to the Red Cross, the VON and PHARA, for all the care and support given to Pauline during her long illness. Thank you to Dr. Paul Warbeck and to Dr. Klère Bourgault, for their guidance and care. Pauline will always be remembered as a woman of strength, conviction and compassion. Family receiving friends at the THÉORÊT-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, today December 26, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to follow on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls. Reverend Father Raymond Sullivan officiating. Donations in memory of Pauline to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
