— Peacefully at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Saturday December 10, 2005 in his 87th year. Roland de Grosbois was the beloved husband of Rita (née Ronan) Woods. Predeceased by his wife Ruth Baker, his parents, Amy and Gaetan de Grosbois, brother Paul and granddaughter Ariane. He will be sadly missed by his children, Paul (Gail), Janice Campbell (Tom), Louis (Robin), Amy Gremm (Rick) and Catherine (Chris Church); step-children, Edward Woods, Mary Dilario (Rob), Margaret Clarke (Chris), Monica Poulin (Michael) and Kathleen Woods Trembley (Marc). Much loved by many others, including eighteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marie, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Roly was born and educated in Ottawa. He proudly served with the RCAF during WWII and was retired from Federal Public Service where he had enjoyed service in Ottawa, Chicago, New York, Sydney Australia and London England. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday December 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, Thursday at 10 a.m. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium and entombment at All Saints Mausoleum to follow.
