CHARETTE, Donat —The family announces with sorrow the death of Donat Charette of Temagami, at the age of 71 years. Mr. Charette passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side, Thursday, December 7, 2005 at Temiskaming Hospital, New Liskeard. Mr. Charette is survived by his loving wife Rita Charette. He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren, Michael, Kevin (and Leeanna) and Jeff (and Elaine); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister Laura; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Charette was predeceased by his parents Anna and Edmond Charette, and by his brother René Charette. In keeping with Mr. Charette's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Highway 11, North of Temagami, today, December 10th at 3:30 p.m. Father Peter Moher officiating. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Temiskaming Cat Scan Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
