BERTRAND, Mignonne 'Lachoune' (nee Lapensee) — Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Mattawa General Hospital on Sunday December 4th, 2005 in her 62nd year. She is survived by her adult children; Maurice (April), Monique (Scotty) and Suzanne (Danny). Sadly missed by her grandchildren; Melissa, Derick, Scott, Josee and Alex. Also survived by her sister Colette Watts (Ron) of Ottawa, Roger Lapensee (Mona) of Mattawa and Rheal Lapensee (Francoise) of Sudbury, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her late husband Jean-Paul Bertrand and her father and mother Joseph and Ida Lapensee. A memorial mass will be conducted at St. Anne's Church, Mattawa, on Monday December 12th, 2005 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
