RIFOU, Gaëtan (Buck) 1938-2005 — It is with profound sadness that the Rifou family announces his sudden death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Lila Rifou (née Rhéaume) of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Luc (Adriana) and Michel (Nathalie) both of Sturgeon Falls. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Mikela and Anika. Dear brother of Marcel (Joyce), Florence (late Babe Duhaime) both of Sturgeon Falls, Carmen (Gilles Murphy) Field, Denise (Gerry Boyer) Hull, Quebec, Rachel (Wayne Pigeau) Cache Bay, Lorraine (Frank Nault), and Jeanne (Butch Dupuis) both of Sturgeon Falls. Mr. Rifou will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Laurent and Eva Rifou (née Renaud) and by his brothers Gaston (Ellen-Sudbury). Mr. Rifou had many interests. Among his favorite hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. Family will receive relatives and friends at the THÉORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, today Friday, November 4, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reverend Gérald LaJeunesse will celebrate the Funeral Mass at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. In memory of Gaëtan, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
