PLOUFFE, Claire (born Gagne) 1936-2005 -- Surrounded by her loving family, Claire Plouffe passed away at the West Nipissing General Hospital, on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the age of 69 years. Loving wife of 52 years of George (Pit). Devoted "maman" of Richard (Linda), Myonne (Bernard), late Nicole, Gilles (Denise), Marc (friend Debbie) and Michel (Lynn). Predeceased by her parents Nazaire Gagné and Philomène (Piché) as well as her brothers and sisters: Thérèse (John Castilloux), Aurèle (Géralda), Roland (Blanche), Georgette (Gabriel Desjardins), Lucia (Alcide Gagné), Laure (Ludger Dupuis) and Cyril (June). She is survived by her brother Donald (Colette) of Sudbury. Left to treasure her memory, are her grandchildren, Luc (Kim), Sophie, Mélanie, Richard, Natalie, Gabrielle, Danielle, Michel, Monique and one great-grandchild Zachary. In accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation. The family wil receive relatives and friends at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, or Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Reverend Gérald Lajeunesse officiating. In lieu of flowers, condolences may be expressed by donating to the Alzheimer Society of North Bay and District. The Plouffe family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Warbeck, to the medical staff of the West Nipissing Hospital and the Au Château. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME.
