DANIS, Roméo (1916-2005): It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of Roméo Danis on Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Danis (2003). He will be sadly missed by his children; Donald (Lorraine), Suzanne (late Armand Audet), Fernand (Denise), Robert (Carmen), Marcel (Pauline), Lise (Ron Morrison), Normand (Andrée), Pierrette (Robert Blais), Carole (Charles Beauparlant), all of Sturgeon Falls, and Florian (Diane) of Field. Dear brother of Solange Shank. Predeceased by his daughter Gisèle, in 1993, his parents, Joseph and Aurore Danis, and by many brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by 31 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Reverend Gérald Lajeunesse celebrated the funeral mass at the Sacré Coeur Church, on Friday, September 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. In Roméo's memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
