MARTEL, Marie (nee Amyotte) — The family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Marie, daughter of the late Richard and Edith (Rockbrune) Amyotte, at the age of 57 years. Saturday, September 3rd, 2005. Marie leaves to mourn her loss, her only son Michel (Isabelle), her sisters Rose-Anne (Larry) Keough and Gertrude (Jack) Lisk, her brothers, Dave (Joan) Amyotte and Daniel (Marie-Marthe) Amyotte. Sadly, she will be greatly missed by her three grandchildren Brianne, Genevieve and Vincent. She also leaves behind numerous relatives, many friends and co-workers at Laurentian University, where she worked for 34 years. Memorial Mass at St. Dominique's Church, 1241 Diane Street, Sudbury, Saturday, September 10th, 2005 at 11 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship in the Parish Hall. Donations to the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. (Friends may gather at the Church after 10:30 a.m. Saturday).
