LEFEBVRE, Antoinette "Nettie" (nee Turcotte) — Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa General Hospital on Tuesday, August 30th, 2005 in her 85th year. She is survived by her beloved husband Ted Lefebvre of Mattawa, her adult children; Claudette Dubois (Art) of Barrie, Kenneth Backer (Karen) of Glouchester, Kirk (Anna) of London, her stepchildren; Marcel Lefebvre (Sue) of North Bay, Emile (Patsy) of Mattawa. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jeffrey (Annette), Suzanne (Keith), Kenneth Jr., Kevin, Kirk Jr. (Becky), Cassandra, Brad (Jenny), Shelly (Carl), Mandy (Patrick), Todd (Andrea), Chris (Laura), and great-grandchildren Joanna, Ryan, Courtney, Nathan, Logan, Conor, Selena, Brooklyn, and Noah. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Backer, five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Lefebvre was a member of the Catholic Women's League for 60 years, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies' Auxiliary for 35 years and a Long Term Member of the Golden Age Club. Friends and relatives may call at the T.L. Smith Funeral Home, Mattawa, today, September 1st, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Church, Mattawa, on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at the parish cemetery. Donations to St. Anne's Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
