AYOTTE, Irène (née Chantigny) (1933-2005) — The family announces with sorrow her passing on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at her residence in Warren, at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Michael Marier and daughter of Claire Chantigny. Loving mother of Lise Poirier (Jeff Wolfe) of Tillsonburg, and Luc, Guy (Carole), Gilles (Anne) and Linda (Jacques Tanguay), all of River Valley, and stepmother of Paul (Jenny), Michael (Cindy), Barbara (Andrew) and Tammy. Cherished grandmother of Natalie, Angèle, Alain, Yves, Martin, Marco, Stevens, André, Gaétan, Josée, and Jean-Luc, and stepgrandmother of Asthon, Melissa, Megan, Reese, and Chantal. Loving great-grandmother of four. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her brothers and sisters; Jeannine (Albert), Jocelyne (Robert), Marcel (Claire), Diane (Gaston), and one sister-in-law Pauline. She will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by her father Wilfrid, and one brother, Armand, The family will receive relatives and friends at the THEORET FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday, June 30th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m, The funeral mass will be celebrated by Reverend Jean-Claude Lefebvre at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 1st, at the Ste Rose-de-LimaChurch, in River Valley. Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.
