SABOURIN Jeanne (1925-2005) — It is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing at 80 years, on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. Beloved wife of the late Alcide 'Blackie" Sabourin (deceased July 21, 1992). Loving mother of Rhéal (Suzanne) of Orléans, Suzanne Forsythe (Harold) of Barrie, and Patrick (Linda) of Sudbury. Precious grandmother to seven grandchildren. Survived by her brothers and sisters: Olivia Slattery (Gerry) of Longlac, Roland Lafleur (Béatrice) of Verner, and Nancy Gareau (Leon) of Milton. Predeceased by her siblings: Gabrielle Michel, Rita Mayer, Wilfred Lafleur, Fernand Lafleur, Yvonne Long and Emmanuel Lafleur. The family will receive relatives and friends at the THEORET FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to time of funeral on Thursday morning. A Funeral Mass, presided by Reverend Gérald Lajeunesse, will be celebrated at the Sacré-Coeur Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2005. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie would be gratefully acknowledged.
