WOOD, Blanchard "Woody" — Died on Sunday, February 6th, 2005, at the age of 89, with his daughter Marlene at his side at Leisureworld. Loving husband of Albertine LeFrancois for more than 64 years. He will be sadly missed by his children Marlene Millard (fiance Wayne), Wilbur (Kelly), Gail Dupuis (Jacques), Audrey Hall (Bryan), Patty Sharp (Duncan) and Gary (Heather). Dear papa of Terri-Anne, Cory, Cindra (Jim), Trina, Robyn, Eric (Amanda), Mandy, Laura, Bradley, Tracey, Tammy, Cheri, Cindy, Pamela, Jonathon and Anthony. Great grandpa of Justin, Brody, Mackenzie, Isabella, Owen, Ashley, Adam, Amber, Chelsea, Justin, Owen, Shawnissy, Austin, Mason, Tavia, Ashford, Skylynn Jessaul, Danell and Anika. Predeceased by his son-in-law Bob Millard. Dear brother of Logan Wood (Ellen) and Ruth Gillett and son David. Blanchard was known to most as "Woody". He started out as a farmer, then a welder, bulldozer operator, house builder and lastly he worked for the MTO for nearly 22 years. Woody was always fixing or making something, he loved to putter. Blanchard was a man of God who practiced what he preached and was active at Bethel Gospel. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the Bethel Gospel Chapel on Wednesday, February 9th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Bethel Gospel Chapel Building Fund.
