- This northeast aerial photo of the Abitibi Power & Paper Company, the Sturgeon River and the company dams was taken in the 1950s.
- Notes
- After being in receivership from 1930, the Abitibi Power & Paper Company re-started up its mill in 1946. Construction for the new particle board mill started in September of 1955 and was completed early spring 1956. Notice how low the Sturgeon River level of water was at the bottom of the dams.
